A simple, elegant,sensual, silhouette of a graceful wine bottle and goblet of red wine, bubbling against a black background suggests an invitation to a romantic evening of celebration. The larger, somewhat whimsical, enchanting bubbles effervescing above the goblet do not seem out of place. Who could refuse such a grand gesture?
About Sandi Whetzel
Sandi developed a "do-it-yourself" attitude during her teens when she couldn't afford luxuries. She fabricated her wardrobe and then her home decor after she married. Mesmerized by PBS TV art demo shows, Sandi painted some of her hand-fashioned garments. When the couple purchased new furniture, wall art was not in their budget. Recalling the PBS art shows and her fabric painting, Sandi passionately plunged into oil painting, learning by trial and error. Sandi's self-guided art experiments blossomed with four years of instruction from a talented community college art instructor, Bonnie Hill, of Roseburg, OR.
