Product Details

Our luxuriously soft beach towels are made from brushed microfiber with a 100% cotton back for extra absorption.   The top of the towel has the image printed on it, and the back is white cotton.   Our beach towels are available in two different sizes: beach towel (32" x 64") and beach sheet (37" x 74").

Don't let the fancy name confuse you... a beach sheet is just a large beach towel.

While I love the acrylic print option as I commented earlier, I've learned that the acrylic print option is more susceptible to fine surface scratches. I've decided the very shiny prints on metal are maybe even more dramatic and less prone to surface scratching than the prints under acrylic.

I just ordered prints of some of my wine pieces here and just love the acrylic prints sandwiched in between the 1/4 inch clear acrylic and black backer board. You'd swear the prints were under glass. The clarity is unbelievable and the thickness of the glass-like acrylic gives the pieces a real substantial presence. The black backer board lends a fine black visual border. The acrylic print option is the way to go for a very sleek, contemporary look. If I order any prints to keep for myself or for gifts, I will choose the acrylic print option over any of the other options, including gallery wrapped canvas prints. I just love the novel, contemporary look it adds!

Thanks so much, Allen and Mike. I enjoyed looking at both of your art here, too.

Artist's Description

When I spied these cannas with the sunlight penetrating through the veins in their leaves revealing such brilliant, unbelievable colors, I knew I had to paint them. I crouched down low to the ground to catch the light streaming through them on camera. Then I was off and running to paint them. Of course, I pushed the colors beyond reality. It seemed as though the wind had arranged them to sway as if they were reveling in response to the adoring audience's cry of 'Encore'! Here's to repeat performances!

About Sandi Whetzel

Sandi Whetzel

Sandi developed a "do-it-yourself" attitude during her teens when she couldn't afford luxuries. She fabricated her wardrobe and then her home decor after she married. Mesmerized by PBS TV art demo shows, Sandi painted some of her hand-fashioned garments. When the couple purchased new furniture, wall art was not in their budget. Recalling the PBS art shows and her fabric painting, Sandi passionately plunged into oil painting, learning by trial and error. Sandi's self-guided art experiments blossomed with four years of instruction from a talented community college art instructor, Bonnie Hill, of Roseburg, OR. After Bonnie left that position, she persuaded Sandi to instruct the class. Sandi instructed art at Umpqua College from 1997 to...
