Description

This painting was inspired by a photo I took of a goblet and wine bottle against a black backdrop. I wanted to emphasize the elegant, sensual lines of the goblet and bottle with the highlights on them. The photo was just a starting point. I took liberties with the colors of the reflections on the elegant goblet and wine bottle and added the grape cluster and leaf from my imagination. The colors suggest a prelude to what is to become a very elegant and romantic evening. Here's to romance!

Thanks, Bill! I showed some of my wine art metal prints at an art festival this weekend and a viewer asked if metal prints of this original were available. I sent him to my website. Soon after he returned home he purchased a metal print of this image. I love seeing my art reproduced on shimmering metal prints and so does everyone who sees them.
